October is Dyslexia Awareness Month, and this year it hits closer to home than ever.

Two of my children were recently diagnosed with dyslexia — and while the news came with a mix of relief and overwhelm, it also lit a fire in me.

💡 Dyslexia is not a lack of intelligence.
💡 It’s not laziness.
💡 It’s a different way of learning. And honestly…sometimes a more creative one.

But here’s the hard truth: Our traditional education system isn’t always built for dyslexic learners — so I’ve been on a mission to find tools and curriculum that are.

The Lord provided in a huge way today. Ivy is getting close to outgrowing her toddler bed, so we were going to get a bunk bed at tax time. Our neighbors asked if we needed a twin bed we were getting rid of. Not only is it a twin bed, but it can convert to a bunk bed for when Vera is bigger.
