Equipment

  • 1 slow cooker

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • half bag frozen peppers & onion mix
  • 28 oz can of diced tomatoes (undrained)
  • 15 oz can of tomato sauce
  • 6 oz can of tomato paste
  • 2 cups beef or chicken broth (or water)
  • 2-15 oz cans of chili beans (undrained)
  • 1/2 tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 packet chili seasoning (or 3 tbsp of Homemade Chili Seasoning)

Instructions

  • Add ground beef and brown until done. (I use frozen ground beef I precooked to save time)
  • Spray your slow cooker insert with non stick spray
  • Dump all (yes, all) of your ingredients to the slow cooker
  • Stir your ingredients together
  • Allow to cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4
  • When done, top with cheese and sour cream
  • Serve with a side of crackers, cornbread, (or my favorite, secret ingredient) peanut butter sandwiches. (Seriously, try it!)
