Halloween Puppy Chow

This Halloween puppy chow has a fun Halloween assortment of the traditional puppy chow, candy corn, eyeballs and Reese's Pieces.

Ingredients
  

  • 6 cups Chex cereal
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • ½ cup peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 ½ cup powdered sugar
  • Candy corn
  • Halloween sprinkles
  • Reese’s pieces

Method
 

  1. In a medium bowl, melt chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter by microwaving 30 seconds at a time and stirring in between.
  2. Once mixture is melted, pour onto chex cereal and mix until cereal is coated.
  3. Add coated cereal and powdered sugar to a gallon size ziplock and shake until cereal is well coated.
  4. Add candy corn, halloween sprinkles, and reese’s pieces to the ziplock and shake to mix into cereal mixture.

  • Fill mini cauldrons or pumpkin buckets for party snacks
  • Divide into clear treat bags and tie with orange or black ribbon
  • Add to a Halloween dessert charcuterie board
  • Layer with pretzels and marshmallows for an extra spooky snack mix
