How to Make Homemade Foaming Hand Soap
This homemade foaming hand soap is so cost effective and simple to make! There is nothing worse than realizing company is coming and you’ve run out of soap. IN BOTH BATHROOMS. I’m not speaking from personal experience or anything… That’s why, when I found a soap recipe that worked super well, I had to share it with you all!
I typically make a big batch and fill all my foaming hand dispensers. I love that I can upcycle my soap dispensers, save money, and it takes just a few minutes every few weeks! It only uses three simple ingredients: castile soap, essential oils, and vitamin E oil (or olive oil, whatever you have).
I know what you’re thinking, but doesn’t it cost more to buy the ingredients to make? I get where you’re coming from. However, these few ingredients will last months and can be used for other homemade cleaners. I love using them for my all purpose spray and my bathroom spray. If I had to refill my bathroom soaps every few weeks, it would easily cost me a few dollars each time.
Is foaming hand soap just watered down?
Foaming hand soap is a diluted version of liquid hand soap that must go through a special foaming pump that adds air into the mix to create an already-sudsy hand soap “lather” when it’s dispensed onto your hands.
Is it cheaper to make your own foaming hand soap?
There is nothing easier than making your very own foaming hand soap. Rather than spending $4 or $5 per soap bottle, this basic recipe costs as little as 15 cents per bottle!
How long does foaming hand soap last?
Although you may go through your soap pretty quickly, it’s worth mentioning just in case you use your soap slowly. Using the DIY foam mixture within 30 days is recommended.
