Ingredients
  

  • 1 15 oz can petite diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 bunch fresh cilantro chopped
  • 1 jalepano cored, seeded, and chopped
  • 2 green onions chopped
  • 1 15 oz tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • salt

Method
 

  1. In the bowl of a blender, food processor, or blender party cup: place 1/2 to 3/4 of the can of tomatoes, cilantro, jalepano to taste, and onions.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour this mixture into a medium mixing bowl.
  4. Add the remaining tomatoes, the tomato sauce, lime juice, and salt to taste.
  5. Adjust seasonings and serve.

Notes

The salsa is good for up to a week, covered in the fridge.
