30+ Inexpensive Stocking Stuffers Anyone Would Love
It’s the most expensive time of year! Wait, what?! It doesn’t have to be! I have compiled a list of 30+ inexpensive stocking stuffers for everyone on your Christmas list! From toddlers to your mama.
Where can I buy inexpensive stocking stuffers?
Dollar Tree used to be my go-to place for inexpensive stocking stuffers. However; since their prices are now $1.25 and up, don’t sleep on Amazon, Target, or Walmart. If you’re buying for multiple children/people like I am, it may be worth it to buy a pack and divide them up. It usually ends up coming out less than $1/piece depending on the item.
How can I get stocking stuffers on sale?
Keep your eye out for sales during Christmas time. Check thrift stores regularly, even a few months before the holidays. Also be sure to utilize apps like iBotta & Fetch Rewards. I was able to add an electric toothbrush to my Walmart order just about every week leading up the holidays for my children’s stockings. I got up to $2.50 back on a couple of them.
30+ Inexpensive Stocking Stuffers
Electric Toothbrushes
My kids get new toothbrushes through the year, but I love getting them the cute electric ones during Christmas. It also helps that I get money back for them using iBotta!
Character Band-Aids
We usually opt for a big box of the generic ones, so my kids always enjoy getting their favorite character bandages.
Lip Balm
Who doesn’t need lip balm? My kids are always stealing mine, so I started buying them their own for their stockings. They get all the fun colors and scents.
Straw Cups/Sippy Cups
New cups are perfect for every member of your family. We each have one cup for water that we use daily and wash regularly. Really cuts down on the dishes and makes travel easy!
A favorite treat or snack
Don’t underestimate food. Whether you make the snack or treat yourself, or purchase their favorite little treat, this is seriously one of my favorite things I get in my stocking! I’m looking at you Reese Trees!
Mini Flashlights
Whether it’s for the man in your life or your kids who love do light shows, mini flashlights are perfect for anyone’s stocking!
Coloring/Puzzle Books
My kids love getting a coloring book in their stocking. These are perfect for days at home, in the car, or at church. I personally love puzzle books like Sudoku or word searches.
Bubble Bath/Bath Bombs
Bubble bath and bath bombs are fun for anyone. If you’re not a big bath person, they make shower steamers now!
Hair accessories
We only have two girls in our family and yet, hair accessories disappear at the speed of light!
Batteries
Batteries are a perfect inexpensive stocking stuffer. SO useful for those new Christmas gifts or just to have on hand.
Gloves or winter hat
Nothing better than a cozy pair of gloves or a new winter hat. Get their favorite team, character, or color!
Sleep masks
This year, both of my older boys are getting new sleep masks. They really help them sleep and it doesn’t hurt that it’s their favorite character!
Croc pins
These are awesome little stocking stuffers for the Croc lovers. So many different ones to choose from.
Art supplies
If your house is anything like ours, art supplies magically vanish. Whether it be nice pens, new notebooks, or quality crayons, everyone in my family could always use new art supplies.
Gift Cards to a Favorite Restaurant
We don’t eat out much, so it’s always a nice treat when grandparents give our kids restaurant gift cards in their stockings. $5 used to be enough to get by, but $10 for kids and $20 for adults and teens is probably more practical for 2025.
Tea or coffee
My husband loves getting specialty teas or coffees in his stocking. We buy the cheap coffee all year, but I splurge and get him a favorite during the holidays.
Fun Undies
Another practical gift that everyone needs and seems to appreciate. My kids get them as needed through the year, but always get a fun pack during the holidays. I even got my husband a funny pair this year. He’s going to love them!
Socks
I love a good pair of cozy socks. Think work socks for men, wool socks for kids, and fuzzy socks for women.
Small Tools
Tools don’t need to just be for him. My kids are always “borrowing” a screwdriver, so why not get them their own? I use the measuring tape much more often than my husband.
Small craft kits
Craft kits are great because they are perfect for those winter days spent indoors. I also like that they can either be played with afterwards or tossed.
Fruit
We have always added fruit to stockings. My grandparents started this during the Great Depression and apparently a lot of others did too. Here‘s more information about why we add fruit to stockings if you’re interested!
Nail Polish or Nail Art
I don’t do my nails often, but if I do, it’s usually painting my toe nails. It’s nice to get some fresh paints and new colors. I also love the nail wraps. They tend to last longer than regular polish or press on nails.
Makeup
I don’t use fancy makeup. In fact, I rarely wear it. However; even some of the more “fancy” makeups come in smaller sets and can be quite inexpensive. The good thing is, they tend to last a really long time and are good quality.
Hot Chocolate
Whether it’s getting hot chocolate spoons, bombs, or just a box you divide up between your family, hot chocolate is a great choice for inexpensive stocking stuffers for winter!
Card Games
We use regular playing cards for so many things here. From homeschool math to game night to my 3-year-old flipping them over and looking at them. We also love our cards games like Uno and Guess Who.
Small Puzzles/Travel Games
Small puzzles are great if you don’t have the time or space to work on large, huge 500 piece puzzles. We also love camping and travel games are wonderful to have in our pop-up camper.
Hot Sauces
My husband and son adore hot sauce. They are always trying new ones on just about everything. A great time to get some new ones.
Earbuds
I wouldn’t go too cheap here, but you can find some decent quality knock-off earbuds that are pretty comparable to the fancy brands. I have had the same set for about 3 years. While I don’t use them more than a few times a week, the quality is great and they weren’t overly expensive.
Phone Accessories
Think cases, pop sockets, stickers, or a new charger. I love my otterbox with the built in pop socket.
Gum/Mints
Grandma always has mints and gum, might as well help her load up for the year! Seriously though, my kids can eat tic tacs like it’s a meal and they’re always asking for gum. Seems like a great time to give them their own.
Daily Devotions
Whether it’s for the whole family, kids, yourself, or your spouse. Daily devotions make for a great way to making sure you’re connecting with God on a daily basis, especially if you’re new to studying the Bible.
