Registries

I haven’t had a baby celebration since my second child. However; that sure doesn’t stop be from making registries for my new bundle. Why? Stores will not only give you free baby products, but also give a pretty sweet discount. Here are my favorites!

Target

  • Free welcome kit (over $100 value)
  • 15% off registry completion
  • Over 20 deals of 20% off
  • Free registry returns

Amazon

  • Free welcome box for Prime members (I joined for a trial and it counted!)
  • You must also add at least 10 different items to your registry and you or someone else must spend at minimum of $10 or more on registry items.
  • 15% off registry completion

Here’s a tip, if you want to get your registry completion discount before baby arrives, set your due date a month or so sooner than your actual due date. That way, your completion code will become available sooner!

Diapers

If you’re looking to save on diapers, not just once or twice, but frequently, these reward apps will help immensely! Not only have I gotten packs of diapers for free, but I have gotten boxes of diapers for $5 using various rewards apps and store rewards.

iBotta

Be sure to sign up for iBotta here. iBotta rewards is super easy to use! You either scan your store card or just snap your receipt. They frequently have offers on Luvs, Huggies, Pampers, and more! With the money you save, you can cash out for gift cards to places like Amazon, Target, Walmart, and more!

Fetch

Fetch is very similar to iBotta. Use this link to sign up! You save using the receipt feature or you can also use their e-receipt feature. You also accumulate points and use them towards redeeming store gift cards.

Kroger Rewards

Most stores in the US are now owned by Kroger, so even if you don’t have a Kroger store, you probably have one owned by Kroger, which means you are able to use Kroger rewards to save money. Kroger rewards allows you to use their store card to load coupons. There have been many times where I have been able to use an extraordinary Kroger coupon with a Fetch or iBotta offer to get diapers for next to nothing!

MPerks

MPerks is more of a regional deal. If you live in the Midwest and have a Meijer store, you can sign up for their store card. This is also one you load up with store coupons. They will frequently have deals with spending $50, get $10 back. Add that on top of an iBotta or Fetch offer and sometimes, I get paid to buy wipes and diapers!

Target

If you’re not already a member of Target circle, now is a good time to sign up! They frequently have offers as well as exclusive coupons. If you have a Target card, you also save 5% off.

A lot of Mama’s love Target’s store brand of diapers. I used to really like them, but several years ago, they changed the formula and I haven’t been a fan since, but they’re worth trying if you’d like to save money. They also offer discounts on their brand diapers regularly.

Hello Bello

While Hello Bello is not currently offering any free samples, they are offering a deal.

  • Get $15 Off Your First 3 Diaper Bundle Deliveries
  • Free Gift
  • Free Shipping with code DIAPERS at checkout

You must subscribe for the bundle with a valid credit card and be a new customer.

Luvs

Luvs diapers are my absolute favorites. I have been using them for 8+ years. I prefer the Bluey diapers to the Paw Patrols. Again, I get great offers through Meijer, Kroger, and iBotta for Luvs, but they also do have manufacture coupons.

While I don’t know of any clothing companies that give away free clothes, I do know How to Save Money on Kids Clothes.

Other Places to Find Freebies & Discounts

Family & Friends

Family and friends are a wonderful place to look for baby freebies or discounts. They are usually giving away or selling second hand baby items, clothes, toys, and more! I’m sure they would love for it to go to a friend or family member than a stranger anyways!

Kid’s Consignment Sales & Stores

Kid’s consignment sales and stores are my favorite way to get discounted baby items. I usually shop clearance at these and get many new or second hand baby items for deeply discounted. Think baby gear, toys, even diapers, and bottles. I ended up selling every after our fourth child. When we found out we were expecting baby number five, I was able to replace everything I had gotten rid of for less than $100. I think I spent that much on one thing for my oldest!

Facebook Marketplace

A lot of times, people will post various things free on Facebook Marketplace. Whether their child outgrew a diaper size or they don’t tolerate a formula, they usually can’t return the items and will give them away for free. Please be a good person though, don’t beg people for free things on their listings. I have provided other resources below if you are needing freebies due to severe financial constraints.

Resource Centers

Resource centers are a wonderful place for people in need who truly NEED free baby items. Our local resource center gives:

  • Free pregnancy services
  • Free sexual health services
  • Free pregnancy and parenting classes
  • Free Diapers and wipes
  • Free Baby clothes
  • Free Car seats
  • Free Strollers
  • Free Playpens
  • Free Nursing accessories

Doctor’s Office

Check with your doctor’s office if they have free samples they can give you. At one point, mine had free formula and diaper samples. They also have resources to get discounted items and services if needed.

There you have it! My favorite places to get discounted and free baby stuff! Where do you find discounted or free baby stuff? Let me know down in the comments below!
